Project planning and quote support

Request an interior door quote

Compare Shaker, moulded, flush, French, glass and barn doors for renovations, custom homes and commercial interiors. Start with the style, then confirm the dimensions and configuration required for every opening.

Trim Depot offers door slabs and, where available, knocked-down machined door-and-jamb kits. The components are prepared to the opening specifications, packed separately for efficient transport and assembled on site.

Prepare a door schedule before requesting pricing

Label every opening

Give each door a room name or number, then record the required slab width, height and thickness. Note the frame condition and wall thickness separately. A rough opening measurement is not the same as a finished slab size; identify which measurement you are supplying.

Make the swing unambiguous

Include a simple plan sketch showing the hinges and swing arc. Add hinge preparation, latch or lock bore details and any clearance constraints. This is particularly useful for replacement doors where the existing frame and hardware are being retained.

Separate the slab from the complete opening

Confirm what is included in the quote: slab, jamb components, machining, casing and hardware. Where offered, Trim Depot’s knocked-down machined door-and-jamb kits arrive as separate components for assembly on site, not fully assembled prehung units.

Compare Shaker doors, moulded and flush doors and French and glass doors. Identify the exact style and configuration for each opening before finalizing the package.

Choose the door style and construction

Panel layout, glass, surface texture and construction affect appearance, privacy and use. Review the listed product details and compare alternatives within the matching door category.

Build an opening schedule

Record width, height, thickness, handing and swing for each opening. Add jamb depth, hinge preparation, bore requirements and any glass or panel selection needed for an accurate configuration.

Understand slabs and knocked-down kits

A slab is the door panel by itself. A knocked-down machined kit can include the prepared door and separate jamb components, packed separately for efficient transport and on-site assembly. Available configurations vary by product and project.

Coordinate trim and hardware

Plan jambs, casings, stops and hardware with the door schedule. Confirm compatibility and order-specific availability when requesting a quote.

Buyer questions

Doors FAQs

How are Trim Depot door and jamb kits supplied?

Trim Depot offers door slabs and, where available, knocked-down machined door-and-jamb kits. Rather than shipping as fully assembled prehung units, the prepared components are packed separately for efficient transport and on-site assembly.

What information is needed for a door quote?

Provide width, height, thickness, handing, swing, jamb depth, hinge preparation, bore requirements, quantities and the preferred door style for each opening.

Can I compare solid and glass door options?

Yes. Available panel and glass configurations vary by product. Use the category pages to compare designs, then confirm the selected configuration in the quote request.

Does Trim Depot install these products?

No. Trim Depot supplies products and may be able to refer an independent installer. The installer’s scope, pricing, schedule, workmanship and warranty are arranged directly between the customer and installer.
