Choose construction by room

Privacy, sound control, moisture exposure and daily use all influence the right door. Confirm whether each opening needs a hollow-core, solid-core, glass or specialty configuration.

Build a complete door schedule

Record opening size, swing, handing, wall thickness and selected style for every room. A clear schedule makes multi-door quoting and coordination more reliable.

Coordinate jambs, casing and hardware

Door slabs are only one part of the opening. Match jamb width to the finished wall, confirm casing proportions and select compatible hinges, handles or sliding hardware.

Quote the project together

Send Trim Depot the door schedule, preferred styles and related components for project pricing, availability and delivery planning across Toronto and the GTA.

Project questions

Interior door FAQs

What information is needed to quote interior doors?

Provide each opening size, door style, quantity, swing or handing, preferred construction and whether you also need jambs, casing or hardware.

What is the difference between a slab and a knocked-down machined door kit?

A slab is the door panel by itself. A knocked-down machined kit includes the prepared door and jamb components supplied unassembled for efficient transport and on-site assembly. Trim Depot does not supply these kits as assembled prehung units.

Should every interior door in the home match?

Using one primary style creates consistency, while glass, barn or feature doors can be introduced where the room function calls for a different treatment.

Can Trim Depot quote doors and trim together?

Yes. Doors, jambs, casings and hardware can be planned as one coordinated opening package.
